Welcome

St. Mary's painted by Sheila Naylor
"Our churches provide opportunities for the worship and praise of God and the educating and forming of its people for a life of caring for others in response to that grace"
The Rector and ministry team of the Church of England parish of St. Mary's Wistaston with St Luke's Willaston, welcome you to our website.
Our churches serve the communities of Wistaston, Rope and Willaston in South Cheshire, UK. We have two places of worship, the parish church of St.Mary's in Church Lane, Wistaston and our small daughter church of St.Luke's in nearby Coppice Road, Willaston about one mile away.
Our wider team offer skills in parenting, marriage enrichment, signed sevices for the deaf, Alpha and Doorway courses. We have two Pastoral Workers who specialise in Marriage Preparation, Baptisms and helping others discover the Christian Faith. We can provide bible reading notes or copies of our parish magazine. For the ladies we have Mothers' Union and a Ladies Evening Group. For the younger people we have a lively Junior Church, Rainbows, Brownies & Guides. And for the even younger preschool children we have 'Stepping Stones' and 'Praise & Play' groups.
We feel sure you will find something of interest in our church fellowship. Please visit this site again soon to keep up to date with our parish news. We look forward to seeing you at either of our places of worship where we meet every Sunday.
The churches of St. Mary's and St. Luke's are part of the Church of England in the Diocese of Chester.
You will find pages describing our two churches in more detail. We offer a word of encouragement from the current ministry letter from the printed version of our church magazine together with a selection of articles both current and upcoming. We pray that you will re-visit our website from time to time and if you have any needs with which we might be able to help, please contact any of us on the contact list page of this site. You can email any of the clergy whose names are hyperlinked in blue.
With every blessing to you.
