Health and Safety
Following advice from our insurers earlier this year the PCC have now implemented a Health & Safety Policy which covers St Luke’s, St Mary’s and the Church Hall. If you regularly hire, work or help out at one or more of these buildings we strongly advise that you take a look at it and become familiar with it. We hope that through this policy we will have safer buildings and working practices.
easyfundraising.org.uk is a great way to raise valuable funds for our church, just by shopping online. By signing up for Easy Fund-raising and opting for the donation reminder each time you shop with your favourite retailers the church will receive commission. Most of the large retailers are part of this scheme such as Amazon, M&S, Sainsburys, John Lewis etc. You can also opt for gift aid by clicking my settings under the My Account tab. Thanks, Daphne
There is an Intelligent Public Access Defibrillator located in the First Aid Cupboard in the Church Hall Kitchen. You do not need to be trained to use this as it is designed for public use. However, we recommend that all regular users of the Church Hall familiarise themselves with the location of the device and watch the training video at vimeo.com/91431931 or look at the leaflets in cupboard.
St Mary's Parking
Please do NOT park in the designated spaces reserved for those visiting the Churchyard. There have been a number of complaints about access. Thank you
