Junior Church

    When, Where and What!

The Junior Church meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month during school term times in the Church Hall & Choir Vestry at St Mary's. We begin all together in church at 10.40 am and then the leaders and the young people make their way during the first hymn to their various groups.

We have a programme which is interesting and stimulating for the young people and we have activities that are appropriate for each age group.
    • Splash! - for Pre-Schoolers through to year 2
    • Xstream - Year 3 through to year 6
    • y:church - Year 7 through to year 13
This said, we are flexible over ages and would rather the young people are with other people they know and are happy.

    Safeguarding:
We take the safeguarding of young people seriously and we have a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy in place which is reviewed each year. All our leaders have a DBS Enhanced check and a register is taken at every group. As well as this each child is required to have a Registration Form completed by a parent or carer.

You are always welcome to accompany your child to their group if you, or they, feel unsure about anything.
